 So I am starting to figure out this whole blogging thing a little!  Once again we have had a crazy busy week at my Town Tees, which we are not complaining at all just a little tired maybe!!   It is so crazy that a few tank tops could change your life literally!!   Gods timing in things is always so perfect and we are so glad this big jump in business came during summer while Jessie's off and we aren't dealing with homework etc. However, the homework cloud will be here before we know it!!!   We added a few more stores this week so i spent lots of time at the post office and UPS store which is another thing on our long list to do is set up online accounts so I can do that from home!!!

We have to thank you for the huge love we had with our America tank!!  We very nervously printed 250 of them 2 weeks ago and sold every one of them!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

The goal list for this week is just as long as last week with the main thing learning to balance family life with My Town Tees life.  Who knew running a small business could be so consuming and fun at the same time.  I told my friend Christy this week when I was talking to her with my "Cheer mom" hat on that life would be good if I had a clone!  Although I was kidding it is very true!!    So here is to a great Monday for everyone tomorrow!

Hello all,

  We have had several customers ask us if we blog and decided we would give it a try.  My name is Rhea and I am a busy mom of 4.  Yes go ahead and gasp everyone does,  I said 4 kiddos!!!   Kelsey is 13, Will is 11, Walker is 5, and Wyatt is 2!!  I am the director of the MDO/ preschool at First Baptist Fisherville.  Last not but not least I am the lucky wife to my husband Chad. This November we will celebrate 15 years and what a trip it has been.   My sister Jessie and I are 4 years apart and very blessed to be super close!! All though it did not start out that way when we were younger now she is my rock, my best friend and now my business partner!!  so I'd be lying if I said we don't still have a few fights here and there but there is no hair pulling anymore so that's better right?   Jessie has 2 boys Russell who just turned 10 and Charlie who is 4.  Jessie married a Mississippi boy she met at Delta State. His name is Rob.   Jessie is a elementary art teacher!!  So now you know a little about us I'll tell you about My Town Tees!!

People always ask us how we got started?  Well Jessie has always been a great artist. In fact i just don't know anyone that can letter by hand as well as her.  Our mom is an artist and always creating new things while we were growing up and Jessie defiantly got her talent!!  Our dad is a salesman at heart!! He has always instilled that go get them attitude in us. He sales tshirts on a much larger scale than us and we have grown up with my mom pushing us to be creative and my dad pushing us to hustle our talents lol!!  Sounds silly but true!!     We did our first Ville shirt about two years ago to add to our booth of other items at Fair on the square on Collierville and it just took off!! Here we are today busy as ever and growing each day and we are loving it!!!  thanks to our customers for making our little dream become a reality!!  Can't wait to share more!  Follow us on facebook at My town Tees or n instagram @mytowntees
